I've been mountain biking for over 10 years now and have owned bikes from many top brands. When it came time to purchase a new full suspension rig for aggressive trail riding, I decided to give Framed a try based on recommendations from some riding buddies. I opted for one of Framed's carbon fiber models, the Framed Monarch. After taking it out on my home trails and pushing it hard through rocky, rooty singletrack, I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality and performance!
The suspension design provides a plush feel yet pedals efficiently, and the big tires grip like glue. I'm able to charge hard through chunky sections and bad lines no problem. The frame feels stiff and responsive too when muscling the bike around or railing berms. I'm running a 1x drivetrain and love the simplicity. The carbon frame soaks up vibration so well my hands aren't fatigued even after long days out. For the price, it's hard to find a full suspension rig this capable. Framed nailed it with the Monarch! Couldn't be happier with this sick trail shredder.
As someone brand new to mountain biking, I wanted an entry-level bike that would be forgiving as I learn but still tackle moderate trails. After browsing Framed's website, I decided on the Framed Minnesota 1.0. From the moment I picked it up from the shop, I was so thrilled to get out on the trails! This bike makes riding easy and approachable, yet still feels quick and nimble.
The relaxed geometry gives me a comfortable and balanced riding position. I feel confident rolling over roots and rocks thanks to the front suspension fork absorbing bumps. The mechanical disc brakes provide great stopping power on downhill sections, which gives me peace of mind. Shifting between gears is really smooth. I love the color scheme too - purple is my favorite! I've made so much progress on the Minnesota 1.0 already, and can't wait to continue improving as a mountain biker. Huge thanks to Framed for making such a great beginner bike.
I've been riding BMX for years and have never found a bike brand I love as much as Framed. I'm really into park riding and street, so wanted a responsive bike that can handle big impacts. The Framed Impact XL is built for exactly that! This bike is so dialed for shredding skateparks and urban spots.
The full chromoly frame and fork are burly enough to absorb harsh landings when I don't stick a trick. The geometry is perfect for boosting airs and railing corners in the bowl. I upgraded to better wheels which roll really smooth. The brakes have great bite to control my speed going into tricks. Everything just clicks on this bike - it's so in tune with my riding. Framed clearly put a lot of thought into the Impact XL's design. It has taken my skills to the next level. Could not recommend Framed enough for BMXers who ride hard!
Living in Minnesota, I love biking year-round including the snowy winter months. I quickly realized I needed a fat bike designed for sand, snow and winter conditions. After researching options, the Framed Minnesota 3.0 stood out as a top choice. I just finished my first winter riding this Fat Bike and couldn't be happier! The massive 4.25" tires provide unstoppable traction and float over deep snow. I had no trouble cruising through unplowed streets, snow-covered trails, and foot-deep powder.
The lightweight aluminum frame made it manageable to pedal and maneuver. I always felt in control thanks to the hydraulic disc brakes even in slippery conditions. I added some bar mitts which kept my hands warm down to freezing temps. This is by far the most fun I've ever had biking in winter! The Minnesota 3.0 enabled me to embrace the snow and keep biking all season long. I see many more winters of awesome rides ahead with this capable Framed Fat Bike!
As an employee at Framed Bikes, I'm proud to not only design and build our bikes, but also ride them myself. As a dedicated BMX rider for many years, I currently have 3 different Framed BMX bikes dialed for different disciplines. Each one serves me extremely well! My favorite is the Framed Squad for street riding. It has the most responsive feeling frame and forks which suits technical flip tricks and grinds. The geometry lends itself well to technical rail and ledge tricks. I upgraded the wheels for faster rolling and made a few other custom tweaks. I've been able to progress so much in my own riding thanks to the versatility of the Squad. It really becomes an extension of myself out there. I trust it fully no matter what style of riding I feel like doing. Framed allows me to build and tune our bikes exactly how I want.
